I have been passionate about Fine Art since I was a kid. My father, who is an artist, gave me a pure talent.

This passion solidified my path, and in 1996, I decided to pursue a degree in Fine Arts at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. There, I immersed myself in art, honing my skills and deepening my appreciation for it. I graduated in 2003 and entered the professional world, where I developed a keen interest in handicrafts.

I embarked on a career at a handicraft export company, eventually becoming the Manager of Research and Development. During my time there, I gained profound insights into the craft-making process. I learned that crafting involved social and cultural elements. This experience highlighted the gap between fine art and applied art in creating these works. Most products sold in the handicraft industry lacked elements of fine art.

With extensive experience under my belt, I resolved to start my own handicraft company. My mission was to blend fine art with applied art, creating products that embody artistic, social, and cultural elements from various regions. I wanted my products to be not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing and culturally rich. In essence, I aimed to mass-produce fine art expressed through crafts in modern and contemporary design.

Thereby, Eksotikart was born in November 2021 at Bantul Yogyakarta. Eksotikart focuses on export home living needs, offering products for all functional and comfort needs from small furniture, wall decorations, home accesories, basket & storage, table top, kitchenware, rest area, etc
